Plan before making changes
Dry-run behavior makes intended migrations inspectable before files are changed. Conflict detection identifies places where generated updates and application changes need deliberate handling.

Open Source Contribution — Safe Project Upgrades
Helping a frontend architecture CLI upgrade projects safely, with migration planning, conflict detection and rollback.
Open source contributor
# Preview the migration before changing files
$ npx create-fsd-architecture upgrade --dry-run
# Check the project’s upgrade readiness
$ npx create-fsd-architecture upgrade --check
Illustrative commands · safe upgrade workflow
A project upgrade can overwrite application code when tooling cannot distinguish generated files from user changes. Safe upgrades need a plan, conflict handling and a recovery path.
I contributed a migration workflow to the existing create-fsd-architecture CLI. It inspects a project, plans changes, detects conflicts, validates the result and supports rollback instead of blindly re-scaffolding application files.
02 / ARCHITECTURE & TECHNICAL DECISIONS
Dry-run behavior makes intended migrations inspectable before files are changed. Conflict detection identifies places where generated updates and application changes need deliberate handling.
Validation and rollback paths make failure handling part of the migration workflow. Automated tests cover migration safety.
